Hunger in the Ghetto

Nobody sends the community officials away.
There is no justice in the world, not to mention in the ghetto.
People are in a state of panic.
And this hunger. THIS HUNGER.
A struggle against death from starvation.
Life is terrible.
Living conditions are abominable.
And there is no food.
Bureaucrats are stealing from our provisions and let food rot.
So nobody could get it.
And now we are under sentence of death from starvation
and are at the mercy of fortune.
We see how death takes new victims everyday.

Original Poem

Hey you,
Be who you are.
Don't be anyone else.
Be the unique person you are
Be you.
